July 3- Pre-4th of July celebration
Sterling and Ella get ready to stroll over to baby Eve's house for a Fourth of July (on the 3rd of July!) barbecue.
Heather and her mother Song Chang Young (talking on the phone in the background), also joined the barbecue, along with our other neighbors Trey and Nan. We all had a great time and ate way too much. I made bruschetta with the basil Michael has grown in his garden, and it was quite delicious if I do say so myself!
Isn't little Eve's patriotic dress just adorable?
Thanks Daddy for tying your bandanna on this baby boy's head...he looks like a Detroit rapper...ugh.
After the barbecue, all baby's got their jammies on then we all headed over to Camp Eagle for a fireworks display. They were lighting up the sky on the 3rd this year so everyone could attend the larger display at Camp Humphrey on the actual 4th of July. We will not be making another 2 hour trip to Pyongteak this week...gas on post is up to $4.97/gallon! Yikes!
Eve and Ella rode piggyback on their Mommy's backs (in Ergo carriers) but Sterling had the best view a top Daddy's shoulders. I was simply amazed at how good all the babies did. Not one of them cried or even fretted. They all stared very mesmerized at the fireworks show.
