November 26- Happy Thanksgiving 538th Ord. Co.
That’s one fine looking turkey bird, Daddy! Michael was left in charge of deep frying the bird for his company’s Thanksgiving supper. I can assure you, it tasted just as good as it looked!
What could make a rambunctious boy happier than lots of room to run and screech?! Sterling had so much fun running around the empty banquet room before the other guests arrived.
Hey pretty girl!
The soldiers and families as well as the Korean workers of 538th Ordnance Company enjoy their holiday feast.
Sterling and Ella wait very patiently while Mommy and Daddy fix their Thanksgiving plates. (How’s that for a very southern sentence?!)
Ella dazzled the crowd while they ate with her rendition of the ABC song. It didn’t actually have very many words that anyone recognized, but I think she was pretty sure she thought she was a rock star.
Okay, so I confess. At this age, twins are a wonderful, wonderful thing. For all the long, sleepless nights I had when they were newborns, this age is totally worth it. They have become each other’s greatest friend and source of entertainment. The things that they think up to play are endlessly funny to them as well as us. I keep thanking my lucky stars that they have each other. While everyone was eating and socializing, they were off goofing around in a cabinet! They thought it was the funniest game ever to kiss each other through the glass, then pop back out and kiss each other without the glass divide. Why was this so funny? I’ve no idea! But it certainly kept them busy!
Ella wandered into the room where the soldiers were dancing to music and immediately began dancing herself! Such a party girl!
After the Thanksgiving dinner a cake was presented to all the birthday celebrants for the month of November, including our own First Sergeant, Michael.
How many soldiers does it take to cut a birthday cake? Two plus one KN (Korean national).
