October 29- Evie and Ella

Well, we’re still having a lousy day, but the kids don’t seem to realize it. I’ve been bugging Sarah and Evie for the past 2 afternoons. It’s nice to go over to their house and watch the kids play, and not think about the nightmare headache we’re dealing with right now for a couple hours. Thanks, Sarah! Look at how long Eve’s hair is getting! And she's picked up a few new teeth while we were in the states. And at last, Ella has really decided that she and Eve are friends. They have had lots of fun sitting side by side in Eve’s little chair.
Sterling helped me to stuff a pumpkin piñata today. I suppose if he had known he was stuffing candy into that hole, there may have been a different outcome. On Friday evening all our American neighbors are doing trick-or-treating for the children in the neighborhood, then a Halloween party at our house afterwards. All the Korean children are very excited to celebrate Halloween for the first time. We’re going to have a piñata, bobbing for apples, s’mores and other fun goodies. Should be lots of fun…wish you were here!
S: I could’ve sworn there was some talk about this pumpkin being filled with candy, but so far I haven’t found any! Must be defective…
What would Halloween be without “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” DVD? Tonight we put on our Halloween sleepers and settled in for a little Halloween classic.
