September 19- 18-month pictures

Can you believe it's been 18 motnhs already? Here's the 18 month pictures we had made at Portrait Innovation today. I'm very pleased with how they turned out!
We had hoped to have Sterling stand next to Ella in the rocker. No such luck...if he was on his feet he was running circles. So, the only way to get a picture of them together was to sit him down. Then the photographer had exactly 3 seconds to snap a picture before he popped back up, and was off again.
After an all too short visit in Boaz with Grandmother and Grandpa Thompson and Grandma and Grandpa Wooten, we headed to Portrait Innovations in Huntsville today to meet Maddox and Lucy and have a picture made. You may remember that we had pictures made with Maddox when he was 8 weeks old, and again at Christmas of last year. Well, we've been looking so forward to having a group picture made with baby Lucy ever since we knew of her expected arrival! So, finally we have a picture made with our honorary cousins and best friends, Maddox and Lucy. This is what most of the pictures looked like...babies going and looking in all different directions. Wrangling 3 toddlers into one picture is hard work! Getting all 4 babies to look at the camera at the exact same moment is even harder!
Hats off to the photographer who snapped this picture. Not an easy task, but I think this picture came out just precious! Have you ever seen 4 cuter babies in all your life?!
Triplets. Seperated at birth...and by 4 months. I love this picture of the 3 big kids. Last Christmas when we took Ella, Sterling and Maddox to have Christmas pictures made, everyone kept stopping us to coo over the "Triplets." We had to explain to lots of people that no, they weren't triplets, just twins and a singleton. This year they're even closer in size, and the boys have nearly the exact same color hair. Yes, nearly triplets...from 2 seperate mamas!
How lucky are these little boys to already know their best friend? I look forward to many years of friendship between these two.
I'm so tickled with their little outfits. A lady off Etsy made them for all the babies, and I think they all just looked adorable in them.
Life's a beach. Maybe not so much for baby Lucy. She really wasn't as thrilled with all the hoopla necessary to get the 3 toddlers to pay attention. Actually, she rather disliked it... a lot. Poor thing. Don't worry Lucy, next year you'll think this is great fun.
