September 2- Visiting the new park in Florence

How exciting! Water geysers spontaneously spraying up from the ground! Sterling had so much fun at the new water feature in new Florence city park. He kept checking those water holes, again and again, and again and again they would pop up and drench him in water. Needless to say, he was soaked by the time we left.
Look at this, Ashley!
They fell for it every time. It took a few minutes for the kids to warm up to this idea of shooting water, but eventually they got very curious about it. They’d walk up and delight in splashing the little spout of water, only to have it randomly burst into a giant shooting fountain of water.
And then we all got soaked.
Ella has this new little quirk. When she thinks something is terribly exciting or funny, she covers her mouth when laughing. I don’t know where she picked this up, as neither Michael nor myself cover our mouths when laughing, but it’s really cute on an 18-month-old baby.
Daddy didn’t actually get wet from the fountains of water…his shirt got soaked from holding a dripping little boy!
This is exactly how many adults it takes to corral 3 toddlers and a newborn at a park...we just barely out numbered them!
After we had all the excitement we could stand playing in the fountain, we moved onto the playground at the park. And what could possibly be more exciting and wonderful than a slide? A double slide, of course! That’s right, a slide made just for Ella and Sterling to slide down side-by-side. Isn’t that perfect?
