September 3- Sailor girl
And this is Michael’s dream come true. He finally got to take the dumplings out on the boat. Our boat has been in the shop until today, so he’s been anxiously bidding his time here in Florence, waiting for the opportunity to hit the lake. Neither baby was too thrilled to wear their life vests (can you tell?) but they did pretty well riding on the boat. We were a little worried about how they would react, but as long as Mommy and Daddy are there, these 2 are up for any adventure!
Daddy’s co-pilot. Sterling refused to sit anywhere else on the boat except for his Daddy’s lap. Looks like the boy is ready to take the wheel, captain!
We rode down to the 7-mile island located in the middle of the river. This is the perfect spot for little ones! We could take them out of the boat and walk them up to the shore so they could play in the shallow water and sand. Ella loved walking around in her little float…it was just like the little kiddie pool at Dreamland in Korea!
Look at who thinks he’s a little island boy! Sterling explores 7-mile island…no seashells here!
After our trip, the boat will go back into storage until we move back to the states. We have missed being able to go out and cool off on the boat so much this past (hot) summer. We can’t wait until we move back and can spend lots of lazy afternoons boating and floating!
After a very long and exciting day, all the babies were happy to sit down to some homemade pizzas. Now that’s a full table!
The perfect ending to a perfect day?
Taking a bath with your best little buddy! All three of these babies loved splashing together in the bathtub. They’re going to kill us one day for taking these pictures.
Three little babies in the tub!
What could possibly be cuter than one little baby in the tub? Three little babies in the tub, of course!
Finally, some time to relax for the big people. Michael, Grammy, and Mom all enjoy sitting around Grammy’s new outdoor chimney, complete with roasted marshmallows and s’mores, yummy!
