Last night, after another long and exciting day, the babies were tucked soundly into their pack-n-plays, and Michael and I sat lounging on the couch (thank God for suites). Michael asked me, “Do you think our kids are happy? Do you think they had fun today?” Of course, I replied. What kids wouldn’t have fun chasing fish? Had we only known how much fun the kids would have this morning on the luggage cart, we could’ve saved ourselves a lot of money!
When you awake we’ll be home again, and this will probably all seem like a long dream.
And so our lovely get away comes to a close much the same way it started...with two babies sleeping soundly in the car on our way home.
