What a better way to spend Independence Day than lounging poolside? Sterling and Ella are really enjoying their little kiddie pool.
Ella enjoys playing with one of her pool toys. This pool is just a little too shallow for any swimming, but just right for sitting in.

Daddy learned the hard way today that swim diapers aren't actually for keeping baby dry, but rather just catching any debris; when Sterling stood up and Daddy had a very wet lap! Michael didn't think it was quite as funny as I thought it was...hahaha.
The picture on the right is one of my favorite pictures. It's not exactly a bathing beauty picture, but it's always made me laugh, but it is just a perfect reminder of that time in the babies lives. Michael was here in Korea and I was back home in Florence by myself... and a little overwhelmed!
Now we have a new picture, a little over a year later, and look at how much those itty bitty babies have grown! Needless to say, things are a lot calmer these days, but my arms are still just as full.
Oh, and yes, it would appear that my sweet little girl does in fact have both her fingers shoved up her nose. Nice.
Keeping that fair skin protected from the sun with SPF 50 sunblock and a hat to match her little bikini!
