July 1- 3's Company
Today Sarah and I decided we should hit the open road. We were daring enough to navigate our way towards Pyongteak, where Camp Humphrey is located about 2 hours away. Luckily, we have the GPS system in our car, which made it very easy to get to and from our destination. With 3 full size car seats in the backseat things were pretty tight. We timed our trip so we’d be getting on the road right around the time all the babies would be going down for their first nap in the hopes that they would all sleep during the car ride. Boy, were we wrong! Although Ella and Sterling are used to having a companion in the backseat, Eve was horribly excited to have a playmate next to her. Sterling and Eve spent nearly the first hour and a half of the ride laughing at each other, and playing games. They found it very amusing to pass Eve’s pacifier back and forth… as you can see in the picture above Sterling was the instigator of this little game. We didn’t have sleeping babies, but at least everyone was happy. And the mommies really enjoyed the opportunity to talk too!
Once we arrived at Camp Humphrey, our first order of business was lunch. I can’t tell you how wonderful Subway tastes when you haven’t had American fast food in a while. Yum, yum, yum!
