January 21- Say cheese (toast)

This morning while Grammy was eating her toast for breakfast, she had two sets of eyes watching her very closely. She gave each baby a small piece of toast to try. Ella loved her toast, and finished it in no time flat.
I don’t think Sterling actually disliked cheese toast, I think it just takes him a little while longer to warm up to new foods.

Edited to Add: Oh no, I just realized when looking at this picture that Sterling is starting to turn orange again. Guess we'll be upping the green vegetables again. I'm just glad he doesn't turn blue when he eats the Blueberry Applesauce baby food!

We loaded up the car…well, loaded might be an understatement, more like I packed the car so full I barely had room to squeeze in two babies…and headed back to Atlanta. The movers may have packed 3,200 lbs. worth of our belongings to ship to Korea, but I may very well be taking an additional 3,200 lbs. worth of stuff along with me on the airplane! The phrase “everything but the kitchen sink” doesn’t even describe how much stuff I crammed into every nock and cranny of my car. There very well may be a kitchen sink in that car!
Anyhow, I managed to find a steering wheel and two car seats, so we left for Atlanta. It was sad watching Florence grow smaller in my rear view mirror, but we look forward to a speedy return.
On the Atlanta end, Grand-Mère was thrilled to see the babies again after nearly a month without them. I’m sure her house was awfully quiet without all their coos and cries.
