Well, today is Sterling’s day! He has had a very big and exciting day. First, after his nap this afternoon he pulled himself up to standing in his crib. I’m so proud of him! I of course began screaming and jumping around, which led to him falling down. Poor thing- all that work, just to fall down. Then he must’ve known how excited I was for him, because a little later on, he started clapping his hands during “If you’re happy and you know it” (his FAVORITE song ever). All these exciting milestones have led to a little interruption in his sleep. Instead of going to sleep when he’s lain down in his crib, he’s now working feverishly to get himself up again. Looks like its time to lower the crib mattress. I’m just so tickled for the little boy- maybe he’s just going to skip crawling and go straight to cruising?
