January 17- Bah, bah
Translation: Bye, bye Daddy. We'll see you in a few weeks!
This evening after the movers roll out, Michael will hit the road to Atlanta to catch Delta flight 91 back to Korea Friday morning at 10:50am. The kids and I will be following him in the beginning of February. Until then, it's bye, bye Daddy, we love you!
I must say, this picture makes me very sad. After 5 long days of boxing, the movers finally loaded everything we owned onto a truck to be taken to storage for the next two years. We were only allowed to move 3,200 lbs. worth of household goods to Korea, so we had to choose what went and what stayed behind very carefully. We moved to Florence 3 years ago with 18,000 lbs. worth of furniture pre-babies. Yikes! Now we're just hoping everything makes it to Korea in one piece 7 weeks from now (it will arrive by ship)!
Thank you to our dear neighbors in Florence who gave us this beautiful cake to send us off. We will miss all of them terribly, as they have become an extension of our family. We certainly didn’t know when we moved to Florence what blessings we were in for.
