February 26- Winter wonderland

This morning we woke up to a real winter wonderland. Everything was white, and oh so quiet. It was neat, and certainly more snow than I've seen in years. It's still continuing to snow, but not as much as it did yesterday. Actually, the sun keeps peeping out sadly, and melting some of my pretty snow. I don't have a snow shovel, or even a pair of snow boots for that matter. My wallabees got soaked while I was walking around outside taking pictures. I guess "dessert boots" aren't exactly made for snowy conditions. This may be just the excuse to order that cute pair of wellies I've been eying. My neighbors are all shoveling their driveways. I guess the kids and I won't be going far today.
What a neat thing for them to wake up to! Their room is on the second floor, so they have a balcony off of it. I know, terrifying. I'm working to child proof everything before that balcony ever has the chance to become a danger to them.
Looking down our street. We're the last house on the block. That's our rumbling old car on the right. We can't wait till the Durango arrives in country. It's supposed to get here March 26. That will be a much safer car for driving in the snow next year.
Just another cute clip of the kids playing together. Is there any sweeter sound than that of babies giggling? Oh, and notice all the toys around them, but what do they want to play with? A couple of sheets of printer paper!
