Today we took the kids to Dreamland Amusement park here in Wonju. It’s actually pretty run down, with very few visitors, but the great part about this park is the kiddy pool. They have a large adult wave pool, but they also have a large kiddy pool. It’s about 12-18 inches deep, and you can rent little floats for the babies for about $3 (we brought ours from home). Ella and Sterling LOVED it! They had so much fun being able to walk around the pool in their floats…like bumper boats! You can just barely see in the above picture how Ella's feet touch the bottom of the pool allowing her to walk. They also loved “jumping” off the side of the pool to Mommy and Daddy. Sterling's reaction to seeing his Daddy fly through the air...pretty funny. He wasn't sure whether he thought it was great fun to see his Daddy riding that crazy amusement ride, or if it scared him. He wavers between laughter and tears.

After having lots of fun in the pool, we took Ella and Sterling on a Merry-Go-Round for the first time. Ella was pretty exhausted from all the swimming, and wasn’t as interested in the horse ride, but Sterling loved it. He spent the entire ride clapping his hands to the beat of the music. Not exactly thrilled and not exactly a cowgirl. Maybe next time…
