August 22- Cuckcake

This morning I made blueberry muffins for breakfast. Boy was Ella excited when she woke up and I offered her a “cupcake” for breakfast! I said to her “do you want a cupcake?” and she looked at me with big questioning eyes and said “cuckcake?!”…like are you really offering me a cupcake at 7:30 in the morning? Needless to say, the “cuckcakes" were a hit and she and Sterling each ate two!
This sweet little boy is willing to share his muffin with anyone…including the dog.
Today was my last day of school until we get back from the states. It was the end of their summer program, so we had our party today. I brought in cake and ice cream, and we counted up the stickers the students had received. I had been giving them stickers when they answered a hard question, participated in class, behaved exceptionally well or were helpful to a classmate. The student with the most stickers in each class got a prize today. This was my first class. They’re my youngest ones, and full of energy, can you tell?
This is my second class. They’re only a year older than my first class, but that year really makes a difference. Boys and girls have coodies at this age, and they’re all just too cool.
And this is my third class. They’re my oldest children, and have the largest English comprehension. I really and truly enjoyed all of my classes and can’t wait to return to school in the fall!
