March 22- Time for an egg hunt!

Today the Family Readiness Group (FRG) for Camps Long & Eagle hosted an Easter Egg hunt for the children and families stationed here. So it was off to the hunt we went!
We were hoping for an Easter bunny sighting, but sadly, the Easter bunny couldn't get through the agricultural customs and immigrations requirements (sort of like the cats). So, we had to settle for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (they must hale from somewhere around here). No big deal, Sterling was just as happy to meet a giant turtle as he would've been to meet a big ole' bunny.
Sterling thought the giant turtle was about as fascinating as they come. Ella on the other hand was not too sure a giant turtle was to be trusted and wouldn't let him near her.
With a little help from a kind spouse who offered to help, Sterling fills his goody bag with a few plastic, filled eggs. It's a good thing these kids are so adaptable. He had absolutely no qualms about a total stranger sweeping him up to hunt for eggs. I'm not sure that's actually a good thing.
This is the only egg Ella picked up. Once she had this egg in her hands, she lost all interest in hunting for anymore. She was more determined to open the egg and find the prize inside!
Ella proudly displays her treasure.
So we pick these things up, but now what do I do with it?
Now you see it.
Notice who is eying Sterling's egg.
Now you don't.
Where did it go? I swear it was right here just a second ago!
Poor Sterling.
