July 19- Our 5th wedding anniversary!

Wow! It’s amazing how things change! What a lifetime ago our wedding day seems. I can’t believe that here we are 5 years later, with 2 incredible toddlers, living in Korea. Certainly not the path I thought things would take when we said “I do” that hot evening in July 2003…this path is even better than any I could’ve imagined! We’ve had lots of ups and a few downs, but the journey has been unforgettable. If the next 5 years are anything like the first 5 have been, then we’re in for even more incredible adventures. Happy anniversary to my best friend, my love, my heart.
We had such a wonderful wedding! Can we get married again?
The kiss that sealed the deal.
It seems like a lifetime ago that we were just "Mr. and Mrs.", not "Mommy and Daddy."
For our anniversary Sarah came to our house and watched the kids for the evening so we could go out. It was so nice of her to volunteer to babysit so we could have a quiet dinner! We went to an Italian restaurant called Pastarito. It was delicious! While I really like eating Korean food, sometimes it’s nice to find a restaurant that isn’t Korean or Chinese food. Of course, even the Italian restaurant had a Korean spin on it. The risotto had chili bean paste in it, and the lasagna had corn and green peppers on top. Oh well, the general idea was there!
This was our anniversary cake. I say was because Michael cut into it before I had a chance to take a picture of it. Oh well, I think you still get an idea of exactly how pretty it was. You can always find such pretty cakes here; remember our anniversary cake from last year?
