Last Saturday Ella figured out how to climb the stairs (no worries, Daddy was right behind her). NOTHING will stop this girl in the pursuit of her Mommy. The gate promptly went up at the bottom, foiling her hopes of trying that again. Now she's spending a lot of time at the gate- we think she's trying to find a way around it!
I've spent the past several months trying unsuccessfully to introduce the sippy cup to the kids. So far it has absolutely befuddled them. But I have now found the perfect sippy cup- only took me buying at least a dozen. The Gerber NUK sippy cup is a winner. It has a really soft spout, which seems to be the ticket. I'd like to wean them around a year, and move to just sippy cups, so I'm greatly relieved we're now moving in the right direction to do that. I'm so tickled with them- drinking out of a sippy cup like big girls and boys.
