Today we packed up the 14-foot long U-haul truck and headed home to Florence. But the first order of business was a stop in Boaz to see Daddy’s side of the family, some of whom haven’t seen him since October 2006 when he left for Korea. Did I mention we were driving a 14-foot truck full of our stuff? Remember, when the kids and I returned to the states before Grand-Mere’s transplant, we brought with us only the allowable 4 suitcases and two carry-ons. Somehow or another we have accumulated enough stuff in our four months in Atlanta to warrant renting a U-haul. I plead the fifth- I truly have no idea how that happened!
