I just had to show everyone these tiny little leather sandals one of the gentlemen from our church back in Florence made for the kids. Yes, the folks at Florence First United Methodist were kind enough to allow us to join their church, even if we wouldn't be able to attend for a month of Sundays...or more. I don't think the man who made these shoes has ever even met the children in person, but I think he's probably seen lots of pictures via a certain proud musical director. They're so precious! On the upper side they have each babies initials, and on the lower side is their birth date. Isn't that just so sweet? You can't find nicer folks than those folks back in Alabama.
