April 20- Sterling's new shoes
Grandmother sent Sterling a new pair of sandals…the only catch is they squeak when you take a step. Sterling was most confounded with these new shoes. He couldn’t exactly figure out why his feet were making that noise! Of course, his interest was lost once he saw CNN on TV. Listen carefully for the squeak and watch him explore his new shoes at:

Michael has been working feverishly this past weekend to plant a garden. He’s got seeds germinating to grow corn, green beans, watermelon, strawberries, and all sorts of herbs. He also found a flower nursery here in Wonju and purchased lots of different flowers to plant in pots and in the yard. The kids are having a great time picking all the flowers. If they could only tell the difference between a weed and a flower they’d be great little helpers. Sadly for Daddy, he’s planting a lot of beheaded flowers.
Caught in the act of picking flowers.
How could a person get mad at somebody for picking all the flowers when they look so excited about it?
Even if his eyes are squinting, I love this picture. He just looks so genuinely excited. I’m so glad spring has finally arrived and we can spend some time outdoors, enjoying the sunshine.
What beats a lazy ride on the porch swing on a sunny day? Ella and Sterling enjoy a ride in Daddy’s arms. Watch (not a very action packed video):

Swinging in the sunshine is working a number on Sterling. He could barely keep his eyes open in his Daddy’s arms. Sweet, sweet, tired little boy.
As you can see by Ella's hair, we have the nicest breeze coming off the mountains that surround us.
Ella is trying to start a new trend in head fashions….ala Tupperware! This crazy little girl put this bowl on her head all by herself, and continued to wear it for the better part of the evening. Too, too funny.
Sterling: What are you doing, Ella?
Ella: Starting a trend.
Sterling: Do you know you have a bowl on your head?
Ella: Of course I do! I said I was starting a trend.
Sterling: Okay, just checking.
