October 18-Green's the new black

Especially when green comes in pink, purple, yellow, and blue!
Ella and Sterling wanting to remain ever the Earth conscious babies have decided to make the switch to cloth diapers. I ordered a half dozen “Fuzzi Bunz” cloth diapers to try. Truthfully, I ordered the cloth diapers so Sterling wouldn’t have to wear stinkin’ Pampers while he was recovering from his surgery; but after receiving the diapers in the mail yesterday, I’ve decided I may completely throw out the disposables, and only use cloth. These diapers are so incredibly nice, and unbelievably soft! They’re a little pricey, but in the end they’re still cheaper than buying the mega size box of diapers we go through every two weeks. And they won’t fill up our landfills and pollute our waters the way disposable diapers do, so I can feel good about my choice. Let me also mention, they’re certainly NOT the cloth diapers of yester years. No giant safety pins or plastic pants here. Nope, they’re just as easy to put on as a disposable diaper. If we do decide to go completely cloth, I’ll have no choice but to laugh at myself. My entire pregnancy I had people asking me if I planned to use cloth diapers, and I simply laughed and said that was a crazy idea! Now I’m seriously considering making the change. MY Grandma would be so proud. Anyhow, here’s the website link. They sell all different brands of cloth diapers, but I’m extremely happy with the Fuzzi Bunz so far: http://www.softclothbunz.com/
