June 08- A ride for two
Clearly, we need to purchase another car. This isn’t a toy Ella and Sterling can both play with at the same time…no matter how hard they try to squeeze in together! Ella fell out of the car shortly after this picture was taken. I guess the car must be modeled after a MG or a Cooper?
Watch the kids walking around in their squeaky shoes this afternoon. Michael says when they both have their squeakers on, they sound like a mouse convention! LOL!:

Mommy and Sterling enjoying our little get together with our neighbors and friends.
We thought we would have a quiet night in with the kids, perhaps put them to bed a little early…wrong! Mrs. Yu and her daughter Eun Ji came over to visit, and that turned into a cooking lesson for me. I learned how to make traditional Korean bean soup (very yummy). We also made sticky rice, and a steak salad. Next thing I know the Chung’s (our nanny and her family) are joining us for an impromptu party. We all had a great time…and my soup turned out awesome! I know that the kids eat a variety of Korean foods at the nanny’s house during the week, but I was shocked at one of their favorite foods. Tonight the nanny rolled sticky rice up with sheets of seaweed to make kim pap, a traditional Korean food. It’s very much like American style sushi rolls. Sterling isn’t usually a fan of rice, but apparently when rolled up with seaweed; he’s quite obliged to eat it. Watch my little Korean Ella eating kim pap at:
