Monsoon season is in full swing here. This has actually been one on the driest monsoon season’s Korea has seen in a while. Typically Korea receives 70% of its rainfall for the year during this rainy season (I guess the other 30% comes from the snow?). I’m not sure who thinks this is a dry year. It has rained, and rained and rained lately. The only up side to all this rain is it keeps the temperatures down…a huge plus when you don’t have central heating and air! This is what the skies have looked like for the past couple of weeks. We do get an occasional break in the clouds for a few hours, but the ground stay saturated, so we’ve been spending more time indoors.
