January 31- Cheerio Monster

Some people know the cookie monster (particularly the preschool set). Well, meet the Cheerio monster. She’s obsessed with them! I think if given the opportunity, she’d polish off an entire box all on her own (with very little help from the puppies).
Some people have an occasional bad hair day; Sterling’s had about 5 months worth of bad hair days. But today when he woke up from his nap, something was conspicuously wrong with his hair. I’d say he’s having a sad hair day. Look at his hair! And Daddy’s not even here trying to sneak hair gel in it. I’m so sad. I’ve found him with “flat” hair a couple of times in the past week or so. I’ve come to love that crazy hair of his, and it breaks my heart to see it lying down. I’m afraid it was bound to happen eventually, but it still makes a Mommy a little sad to know that day is approaching very quickly. Guess he would’ve looked pretty silly going to his first day of kindergarten with his hair sticking straight up, but it was part of his babyhood that just tickled me, and I hate to see it go.
Tonight Sterling and I met up with his “BFF,” Travis, and his big brother Max (and of course their Mommy Emily was their chauffer) at Chick-fil-a. Ellabell had to stay home- she was just too tired, and needed her beauty sleep (it’s hard work being so darn cute). We’re so glad we got to see Max, Travis and Emily one last time before we leave for Korea. The next time these three meet up they’ll be having foot races!
This is Travis’ very good big brother, Max. He’s so sweet, and such a great Mommy’s little helper!
