While the afternoons are very warm, the evenings and early mornings are still pretty cool. The kids still need their sweaters for an early morning wagon ride, but by afternoon it's short sleeve weather. They really love going for rides now. They start swaying as soon as you put them in the wagon, trying to make it move. Then they spend the whole ride clapping and laughing.
All the excitement from a wagon ride can really tire a boy out! Sterling actually fell asleep IN the wagon. I looked back to check on them, and there he was all slumped over, sound asleep! He didn’t even wake up while I was un-strapping him from the wagon and carrying him inside. I thought surely he would wake up if I put him down in the living room…naptime wasn’t for another hour! But alas, he just kept snoozing, so it was straight to bed for the boy. I guess some days a boy just needs to catch some zzzz’s.
