May 25- The water wheel table

Michael and I went to Osan yesterday, and left the kids at home with the nanny. Unfortunately, weekend traffic here is always horrendous, so by the time we actually made it to Osan US Airbase, we had very little time to do anything before we needed to head back. We did get to enjoy a meal at the Chili’s restaurant on base there, and hit up the BX. Needless to say, we still had a nice little trip without the kids. This may have been the longest we’ve ever left the kids…a whopping 6 hours! Of course, the main topic of discussion was our kids, and how great we think they are. Imagine that? And clearly they were on our minds while we were at the BX. I’ve been searching the internet high and low for someone who could ship this water table to us. I have yet to find a single site willing to ship this toy to our APO address…including the PX/BX website! I have no idea why…the box was surprising light weight. Luckily, the BX had the very water table I’ve been eyeballing! I was so excited to set this up for them, and it truly was well worth it. They LOVED it! Especially mister splishy-splashy Sterling. As soon as they saw it they both literally ran to it and began splashing in it. What a perfect toy for my little water bugs! Watch the fun begin at:

I have no idea what’s happened to Ella. I swear she’s shrinking! Her very first bikini is well, less than flattering. It’s a size 12-months, and she can’t keep her bottoms up! Oh well, it makes for a really cute picture! Sterling on the other hand was very comfortable in his size 18-month swim trunks...yikes!
Ella found a great new use for the water table, although I’m pretty sure it said somewhere on the box “DO NOT SIT IN.” Good thing she’s light as a feather, and probably won’t ruin the new toy just yet. Watch our bathing beauty at:

What could possibly be cuddlier than a baby all wrapped up in a bunny eared robe?
Summer cruising.
Tonight we had a Memorial Day barbeque with a couple of Michael’s co-workers, and our neighbors. We had such a good time! After a long day playing outside with the water table, we enjoyed winding down with some good food, good music, and good new friends. Sterling and Ella have become little dancing fanatics. Ella helps Daddy play a song on his guitar as the day draws to a close.Even with multiple adults keeping their eyes on the kids, Sterling still found his way into a Cheetos bag. I don’t even want to think about the trans fat he consumed before I stopped him. He was one orange, cheese covered boy…and boy was he happy about it!
