March 26- Ella walks!

Hooray for Ellabell! Not to be out done by her (younger by 3 minutes) twin brother, Ella walked for the first time today. She has been standing unassisted very well for the past couple of weeks, but thus far has refused to move those feet. Today she finally began taking a few very tentative steps. She still very much so wishes to drop down and crawl, but she has managed a few consecutive steps. I caught it on video, but stupid me, I was holding the camera the wrong way. So, you'll have to cock your head to the left to watch Ella taking her first steps at:

Peek
a-Boo
Or as the Korean nanny has taught her, "cock-coo"! This is her new favorite game to play, and she's very random about it. Eating breakfast, changing a diaper, going down for a nap...at any moment she'll engage you in a game of peek-a-boo.
Gimme five!
Put it there lil' buddy!
Sterling is excited to give Mommy high fives. Watch this silliness at:

As the babies grow into toddlers, their play is becoming more interactive with each other. Tonight they had wondered off, so I went in search of them. When I found them Ella was hiding behind a box (yes, we're still unpacking), popping out every now and again to laugh at Sterling. He was not exactly interested in finding her, but she was trying awfully hard to engage him in playing a game of hide-n-seek. I love the video I got of her hiding. You'll see her head pop out to giggle on occasion. It's too funny! Watch it at:

So, Sterling has really figured out space relations recently. Everything he finds must go in something else. Small toys go in stacking cups, balls go in shape sorters, and apparently blocks and mouse controllers go in the diaper wipes box. The boy is absolutely obsessed with the idea of putting things in something else. I just about died when I found my mouse in the wipes box. Not sure how he got it in there, but I'm sure he was very satisfied with himself once he had found a new home for the mouse. Now if I could only teach him to refill the wipes box, hummm....
