In Memory of...

A lot of people have written and asked what they could send us. We love all the boxes we have received, and it is so kind of everyone to think of us. I now have a very special request for those who wish to send something.

One of Michael's co-workers, Major Cousins and his wife Kim were expecting the birth of their son any day now. She remained back in the states waiting for the special event while he was here in Korea. Sadly, on July 15th, their little baby boy, Carter Lochlan Cousins, grew his angel wings and flew home at 36 weeks gestation.

This hits especially close to home, as many of you know how nervous I was being pregnant with Michael so far away. Our twins were born at 36 weeks. I can't even begin to imagine the pain the Cousins family must be in right now. Please keep them in your prayers.

As a tribute to Carter's unfulfilled life, Michael's company will be donating a book shelf to the on-base library, to be filled with children's books. All the books will be donated as well. If you care to send anything, a new or gently used children's book would be the greatest gift you could send right now. I would think a children's book would fit nicely in a manila envelope. If you care to donate a book, and don't have our APO address, please message me and I'll be glad to get it to you.

Thank you in advance to all those who care to donate, your gift will be greatly appreciated.
