In an attempt to move this potty training business along, I’ve resorted to putting Ella in her big girl panties. So far, she’s done a really good job grasping that we don’t pee pee in our special underpants, but she ends up holding it for hours and hours until she can’t hold it anymore, and then has an accident. I keep putting her on her potty seat, but she’ll refuse to go. Instead 4 hours later she unleashes a flood on the kitchen floor. I’m not sure how to explain to her that just because we’re wearing our big girl underpants doesn’t mean that we never potty. This potty training business is no fun.
