The last days of summer. Have we really been back in the states a full year now? Sometimes it feels like we just returned. Other times it feels like it was a lifetime ago.
The new school year began. Because Sterling got sick at Christmas of last year, he never got to go back to school after Christmas break. Ella went a time or two, but basically we were back and forth to Atlanta so often, her school year was cut short also. So today is a very special day for us. Returning to school. It is amazing that Sterling went from being so very sick, to being able to attend a normal three-year-old program. He and Ella will be in Ms. Doris' class this year at FUMC. I'm looking forward to all the new learning experiences they'll have this year!
We found a great new park with an awesome splash pad. I'm just sad that we didn't find this park earlier in the summer. We will definitely be spending lots of time here next summer!
Practicing being a little princess.
We took a field trip to the fire station...dream come true for Sterling! He LOVED "driving" the fire trucks!
We enjoyed the last days of splashing in the pool and having barbecues with friends.
