The weekend following Labor Day, we had the wonderful opportunity to go to Navarre Beach, FL with Grammy, Maddox, Lucy and Becky. Or as Ella now calls it, "the bar beach". I swear, she saw no bars! We had such an awesome time. We spent almost every waking moment of every day simply hanging out on the beach or at the pool. The kids LOVED having friends to play with at the beach and the adults had an equally wonderful time.
We started off each morning on the beach in our pajamas before even eating breakfast! What a way to start a day!

Then we'd eat breakfast and get dressed for the day in appropriate attire...bathing suits!
Ella and Maddox preferred the beach, while Lucy and Sterling were much happier to stay poolside. Luckily for me, Grammy and Becky would rather be by the pool too, so I was left taking Ella and Maddox to the beach, which I much prefer! If you're going to the beach, you should feel sand between yours toes!

And of course, we had to use the trip as an excuse to get some new pictures with our "cousins".

Okay, they can be rambunctious at times too...
What a great way to start the day, eating breakfast overlooking the ocean with your best friends. It's a hard life, I tell you.
My pretty little beach girl. We hated to see our time at the beach come to an end, but we will absolutely, without a doubt be taking another trip to the beach with our travel companions again next spring.
